22 Boys Club
Two Blocks back from a drone strike the night before, we noticed a bunch of modified cars parked on the street. The cars had character and we decided to look for more. Noticing a door covered in stickers, I went inside to enquire about the culture on the street. Artur, the owner of the cars outside, the tattoo studio and founder of 22 Boys Club was welcoming and more interested in my travels in Japan through the automotive scene. We chatted for a while after showing me around his space, full of posters, games, Hotwheels, car parts and merchandise, he showed me his prized possession which he keeps locked away. Wrapped in a custom livery and with a heart transplant, he stood proud.
Ive kept in contact with Artur since I left as a friend, he recently quoted "Things in the world are so sad, we are fine, im praying for peace one day".
